Hey, I’m Carol Lukens — creator of Gangsta Granola.
Not gonna lie, Gangsta Granola came about in the most random way.  I love Granola but couldn't find a brand in stores that wasn't loaded with sugar or "not good things".   I enjoy baking and thought, I can make something better, without refined sugar—something fresh, delicious, and made with the ingredients I actually want in my granola!

After multiple attempts in the kitchen a little magic happened! I shared my blend with family and friends - they couldn't get enough!  On a whim I thought this could be huge at Farmers Markets! My good friend Megan got on board and we developed a name and a brand - GANGSTA GRANOLA / BAKED WITH ATTITUDE!

Fast-forward a year and a half, and we’ve been selling out week after week, building a following of loyal “Gangstas.”
